ASEAN Risk Assessment Centre for Food Safety (ARAC) was officially launched by the Honourable Minister of Health Malaysia on 22 March 2016 at Pullman Hotel, Putrajaya Malaysia. The establishment of ARAC was initiated by the ASEAN Expert Group on Food Safety (AEGFS) under support ASEAN Regional Integration Support by the European Union (ARISE) and it has been endorsed by the 12th ASEAN Health Ministers Meeting in September 2014, Ha Noi, Vietnam.
