The Ministry of the Environment and Food of Denmark has organised World Food Summit – Better Food for More People 2017 on 24 to 25 August 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Summit is an annual event for addressing these food challenges of global relevance and for promoting the continued effort to ensure better food for more people. This is facilitated in a forum where influential stakeholders meet to discuss and share knowledge and idea for actions.
This two-day summit discussed challenges, share best practices and set targets and take action through global and local partnerships based on important issues and crucial themes which were food information, food safety, food diversity and food waste.
