Following the endorsement of the two risk assessment requests by the ASEAN Health Cluster 4: Ensuring Food Safety (AHC 4) which are Chemical Risk Assessment on Arsenic and Cadmium in Rice among ASEAN Population and Microbiological Risk Assessment on Salmonella in Chicken, the 1^st Scientific Committee Meeting of ARAC will be held on 4 to 5 October 2023, virtually. The meeting will review and evaluate the risk assessment requests in terms of clarity, completeness and expected output based on available / provided data and information as well as to identify and appoint experts from the ASEAN Risk Assessor Directory.
